U.S. manufacturing activity soared to its highest level in more than 37 years in March, according to data released Thursday by the Institute for Supply Management.

The market is expected to reach $105.48 Billion by 2024 at a CAGR of 6.50%. The factors propellingthe market growth mainly includes extensive use of enabling technologies in manufacturing, Continuous innovation industrial robotics boosts its adoption in manufacturing and need for mass production and connected supply chain to cater to the growing population.

Last year proved record-setting for robotics in terms of orders and shipments in North America, according to the Robotic Industries Association (RIA). A total of 34,606 robots valued at approximately $1.9 billion were ordered in North America. These numbers represent North America as a whole, but some of these results are influenced by the surge in automation in Mexico. With the world’s 11th largest economy, Mexico is home to a vast array of industries, including substantial automotive and aerospace manufacturing sectors.
